Who He is

Mr Obed Mwenya is a Zambian Citizen. He went to Lengwe Primary School until 1985 when when he was seleted to go to Kawambwa Boys in Luapula province where he did all his secondary School. he Left Kawambwa Boys Technical Secondary in 1988.

He Worked for Mpongwe Development Company limited while studying with a UK based college (Institute for the Management Iformation Systems) IMIS. He was taking his exams at Copperbelt University for the first four Modules and he completed the last two at ZAMIM in Lusaka.

At this stage he joined Nanga Farms Plc where he worked for five years in addition to 10 years he served at mpongwe development Company ltd in Comperbelt in Luanshya. Making 15 years of continuous Service. 

He was involved in Data processing and computer (IT) maintenance since 1990. He finally Left Mpongwe Development on a last contract ending 2006 when he convinced himself that he has enough experience to register his own IT Company in October 2006 which started its own operations on 19th May 2007. He is now the Director for HiPe Computer Systems and cafe up to this date (OWN BOSS).

IT Involvement

I have been involved in Data Processing since 1990 and have worked in two big Companies run by Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) UK - in Zambia up to December 2006 when I ceased to be in formal employment and formed HiPe Computer Systems and Café, having companies like yours in mind. I am qualified with IT/IS and I have gained a lot of experience that has given me confidence to believe that at times you face problems which at one time I have faced before and we can solve for you. I left employment at the position of IT Manager of a 50 user Windows 2003 Server administration.

Qualifications:

A Holder of a DIPLOMA with Institute for the Management of Information Systems. Also a holder of a Licentiate Certificate LIMIS awarded to me effective 1 April 2001.The above Diploma offers me the following qualifications. :

  • Information technology 1
  • Information Technology 2
  • Financial and Quantitative Methods 
  • Business Communications
  • Micro-Computer and Networked Systems
  • Programming Project

    •  A holder of a Certificate in dBase IV Programming
    The above Diploma offers me the following qualifications: dBase IV Programming skills currently transforming skills to visual basic 6.0

    A holder of a Certificate in Spreadsheet skills and computer appreciation
